Philip Larkin - A Tribute

Honoured across many cities and born in Coventry, Philip Larkin was one of the greatest and most influential British poets of the post-war era.

A celebration to remember and reflect upon the life and work of Philip Larkin will take place at the Anglican Chapel, London Road, on Sunday 12th July at 3.00pm, as we pay tribute to one of Coventry’s literary greats. To make this a truly memorable occasion, we will be joined by members of the Philip Larkin Society from Hull, Red River Theatre Company, Warwickshire Poet Laureate Naomi Mba, and a host of emerging Next Generation poets.

A special competition has taken place to discover the Philip Larkin: Next Generation Poet. The winner will be announced during the tribute event, with the trophy presented by Rosie Millard, President of the Philip Larkin Society.
