The original store was renown for “20 different shops under one roof”, and we’ll be bringing together 20 different independent and local traders in nods to the past and the creative culture of today’s Coventry. Celebrate the building’s history for the final time.

Take a walk back in time to the 70s, 80s & 90s! Remember Jackie Comics, Aztec Chocolate Bars, Tie-dye T-shirts, Cassette Tapes and Platform Shoes then you'll remember Intershop! For both weekends over the Heritage Open days, the fondly remembered indoor market, Intershop will re-open for one last time before the area is redeveloped.

Each day will bring together a variety of stall holders (including vintage, artisan and craft) as well as different activities and entertainment throughout the day.

Don't miss out on the grand re-opening at 11am on Saturday 9th September. As with the original Intershop opening parade in December 1978 we'll be joined by a Pipe Band and Dum Dum the Elephant!
