Throughout the festival weekend, visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy a special exhibition of artwork by a descendant of Colonel Wyley, Emma Major. Her captivating work will be displayed across the venue, offering a unique visual celebration alongside the festival’s literary programme.

Emma's work explores themes including disability, grief, mental health, faith and climate change. A blind wheelchair user and passionate advocate for creativity, particularly among people living with disability and chronic illness, she combines thoughtful storytelling with historical research to bring the past vividly to life.
